4. Puffing your cheeks has it’s uses...(Ask the teacher that told you)
5. Lastly, as far as tone, brass instruments sound like this in HBCU bands as we tend to push the limits of our horns’ volume at times while maintaining great unison tone. Other bands don’t do this so their instruments tend to deliver a warmer, rounded tone while playing, but since brass can handle such demand so we go for it.

Soul Gamer long tones will definitely help develop your tone and lip slurs will help you change notes and all of that good stuff all this stuff helped me out a lot i only been on t-bone for 11months and im great at it now but don’t forget to learn ya scales

Tubruh I don't think it sounds bad. It actually takes a lot of air and control to play in tune and with a more decent blaring sound like they are doing here. Trombone Shorty plays with a tone like this sometimes during solos in his more rock driven tunes. Every musician has their own preference. You'll probably never hear a classical trombonist play like this or even like it, lol.

The AK-16 it's not the mic it's the tone they are playing with, it's usually just caused by playing as loud as u can while puffing out your cheecks
The college now is growing way more diverse as they're expanding the campus as well as reaching out to students nationwide. As for why, there's really no particular reason, it's just the area is predominantly black and full of black musicians.

Hard to watch an unfair fight. Out numbered and out gunned but Bene pulled blacks and blues mid battle which is a game breaker. But Bowie really crushed the ending 8:40.

@@5PercentTint You can still have a good sound even with a small section. Take from me in highschool we were one of the smaller bands but we still won comps due to sound and execution. We marched 40 (the smallest) more towards my senior we marched around 80 ish i believe.
