On this New Year's Eve, I thought I'd drop this off, before the fireworks get here.

I've only seen No Time To Die twice so far. Once in cinema, back on 10/07 of 2021, and then again a few days after Xmas. The second time was at home, via blu-ray, and also with my best friend, Amaranth. She and I have watched all 25 Bond movies together, via the net, talking to one another over IM while we play the movies at the same time, in our own places. (And Casino Royale like 5 times, hahaha)
To say that watching NTTD with her was special would be an understatement. I can't put into worlds the value I place on my friendship with her, and the profound connection we feel. It could have been any movies, I suppose, but it was these ones, and it was also these ones that spawned - via her art first of all - the world of Ames Sond. We had been friends for about 6 years before we chose to watch them all, but I believe that experience in 2015, preparing for the release of Spectre, deepened our friendship, more than somewhat.
I want to point out that I was careless enough to post this image tonight without having said any of this here, and I'm adding it now, after the fact. I don't need to mention that this is an edited addition, but I will, because by calling out to it, I am also apologizing for it.
Thank you, Amaranth, for drawing this picture, but moreso, for having the want and the will to do it at all, thank you for loving NTTD as much as I did, for augmenting my second viewing of it to be something just as powerful as the first time. I love that you were so smitten with the film, so enthused, as to make this picture for me, for it, and for Sond.
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Also: If I can be shallow for a moment. Sond looks really bloody hot in this one, doesn't he? I love the suspenders those big strong arms?? Damn!
Maybe there's just something about a tough guy being protective and caring for a small child, too. :}===<

This time, my usual Sond scene for any Sond art is posted on Dropbox. I'm putting it on dropbox because it has spoilers for 'No Time To Die.'

Thanks for the fave on this.
You were beyond the point of caring to watch the movies that had been pushed back.. because it had taken longer for them to come out? I feel as though, in a lot of cases, waiting longer makes people want something more. But I suppose, yes, you might get burnt out on things / burnt out on anticipation.
