Contested deletion
editThis article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (I am doing a series of articles on Indian Scientists and professors working in Bangalore. This took a lot of effort to bring the information together. I refuse to let the page be deleted.) --Annakoppad (talk) 15:02, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Annakoppad: Now the speedy deletion has been declined, you need to look at WP:PROF and add the sort of content which satisfies it. "I have done a lot of work on this article" is never a valid reason for an article to be kept in the encyclopedia. PamD 07:07, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

- Not sure why the CSD was declined. An assistant professor does not pass WP:PROF. This article, as it currently stands, does not pass notability for inclusion. Sir Joseph (talk) 16:27, 16 August 2016 (UTC)
